We will only ask for your details if you have requested a product or subscribe to our mailing list. As far as it is within our power we will never share your details with anyone or any other company. We are committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of those who express interest in the work and activities on this website. We do not sell, rent or trade our mailing lists with other companies and businesses for marketing purposes.

Mailing List

When you join our mailing list we will use your name and email address to send you regular updates of my art business - such as information about new paintings, exhibitions, courses etc. Some of the emails we send contain tracking to help us monitor the relevance of the content. We use Mailchimp as our marketing automation platform. If you join our mailing list you agree that your information (name, email) will be transferred to Mailchimp for processing in accordance with their privacy policy and terms.

You have the opportunity to opt in or out of my email communications. If at any stage you wish no longer to receive any emails from us you can change your preferences via the links at the bottom of the email footer or contact us and ask to be removed.

Purchasing

When you purchase a product from us, whether a painting or any other product, we might require more details than just your name and email. These details will keep safe on a secured computer for a reasonable amount of time. We only use your details to deliver the product or service you requested and for no other purposes.

In order to process payments online our external payment provider, Stripe or Paypal, requires your billing address and credit card details. The transaction takes place outside of this website, on the payment provider’s secure server. This privacy policy applies to the data collected via this website. It does not apply to any linked sites. We cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of any data that you provide to linked sites and such sites are not governed by this privacy statement. To learn about the privacy policies of any linked sites, please refer to the privacy statements on those sites.

We use social buttons (e.g. Facebook ‘share’, Twitter, etc) to enable users to share or bookmark our web pages. Scripts from domains outside of andrewhird.com are used in order to implement these buttons and connect them to the relevant external sites.
