Every autumn the Royal Society of Marine Artists stages its annual exhibition at Mall Galleries, and once again Andrew will have two of his paintings featured.

This open exhibition is widely recognised as a showcase for the best in contemporary marine art, with selected work by non-members hung alongside the work of current members.

The wide world of the sea is here in this celebration of marine art - great sailing ships, the darkened waters of war, casual and carefree beach scenes, and images of working vessels on river and ocean.

I’ll be opening my studio on the August bank holiday weekend as part of Isle of Wight Open Studios. Visit on Saturday 25th or Sunday 26th August from 10 am to 4pm daily.

Andrew returns to London for his first solo exhibition since 2019. The show will include paintings of London, Venice, the Côte d’Azur and English landscapes. Andrew will be exhibiting again in the prestigious ROI annual exhibition at the Mall Galleries in central London. The exhibition gives visitors the opportunity to see the many and varied ways in which artists use oil paint today: from a traditional approach, to more innovative uses of material, style, and content.

The Royal Institute of Oil Painters was founded in 1882 and is the only major British art society that promotes and exhibits work of the highest standard exclusively in oil paint. The ROI provides a centre of excellence and encouragement to all who love this robust medium.

Andrew has a painting selected for this new annual art competition. The exhibition will be within the historic Guildford House Gallery and will showcase the best in contemporary art. The works on display will include painting, sculpture, photography, textiles and print.

Guildford House is a fascinating 17th century Grade 1 Listed town house in the High Street. The Gallery is open Tuesday to Saturday 10am to 4.30pm (last entry to galleries 4pm).
